Monday, September 5, 2022 marked the first day of English lessons for the Bogusz Hill Initiative in Nowe Brzesko, Poland. With our four inaugural sessions, twenty-two students of elementary age received their first instruction in the English language.
With English accepted as the universal language, the Bogusz Hill Initiative focuses on providing instruction to over 220 Ukrainian women and children while they are displaced from their homeland in hope they will return to a brighter future in Ukraine. With the ability to speak English, higher paying jobs along with opportunities in advanced education become more attainable.
